UX/UI Design

Tech

The project didn’t start with visual exploration. It started from the product itself, its users, business goals, and the constraints of an existing, complex system. Design decisions followed strategy, not the other way around.

Context & challenge

Fing is a powerful network monitoring tool, but its complexity risked overwhelming non-technical users. The challenge was not only to simplify the experience without losing depth, but also to strengthen the brand presence across the website creating a clear, consistent, and trustworthy digital identity while aligning business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.

This SaaS is owned by Lansweeper, a multinational tech company with over 400 employees, specialized in IT Asset Management.

The client requested a modern, minimal design with a tech-oriented color palette, clear navigation, and a responsive front-end focused on UX.

Setting the tone for the brand

Brainstorming sessions and surveys with the client, followed by industry research and the creation of a moodboard including color palette, fonts, and illustrations. Every visual decision was guided by the need to balance trust, clarity, and approachability for a broad, non-technical audience.

Designing the path: from structure to flow

After defining the visual style and mood i collaborated with the client and project manager to design the sitemap and information architecture.

The wireframes played a key role in shaping the structure and ensuring smooth, intuitive, and usable navigation through solid UX principles.

Flexibility
at the core

I placed strong emphasis on responsive design, ensuring that the interface adapts seamlessly across devices and screen sizes. Designing responsively is crucial, as it guarantees accessibility, usability, and a consistent user experience whether on desktop, tablet, or mobile.

This approach not only enhances engagement but also reflects a user-centered mindset, making the product flexible and future-proof.

The final stage was the collaboration with the development team

01

Managing and standardizing typography and UI components within the custom theme.

02

Optimizing site performance (loading speed, image handling, animation management)

03

Implementing micro-interactions and transitions consistent with the UI

This ongoing exchange ensured strong consistency between the creative vision and the technical implementation
